Spot on. I would guess that for most fans in Britain, the likes of Cardiff, Brighton, Bournemouth etc., are the last teams that they want to watch, unless they are playing against one of the big four or five dominant top teams. MOTD is there to attract a large audience, and apart from us City fans, not much of the country will be tuning in to watch Cardiff.

True enough, but that doesn't negate Mr Linekers duty to be impartial or justify any little vendettas he might like to conduct against particular clubs.

Well said i think it has more to do with his x who was a welsh girl obviosly not a amicable split hence the snide remarks about neil warnock and his little old cardiff which he has metioned on previous, you would think the english football lot would be putting neil on a pedestal in his last year of managing and his record as an englishman not many have had 8 promotions and all those years service to football but all you get is mick taking and snide comments from an overpayed tw.t lineaker

Lineker and Danielle divorced for 'future family' reasons but it was as amicable as it could be and they remain very good friends...to the extent that Lineker was by her side during her recent illness

Lineker has no axe to grind with Cardiff or its football club, although it is clear he has a bias towards certain (ex) clubs in his punditry

spot on Sven he came to my cousins ( his ex mother in law) funeral this was the day after the England Belgium pool match in the WC, had a couple of hours up the Ely home guard then had to fly back to Russia.
