We kept a high-flying Everton side extremely quiet at Goodison park; their goal coming from an individual error and us being denied a fairly clear penalty. It was a good performance and we were unlucky to leave with nothing.
If anyone's clueless it's you pal.

Let's have a positive post up there.
Warnock is not clueless.

What would have been your line up? Murphy over Arter? When murphy came on it was clear why he didn’t start as he doesn’t offer any help tracking back. Arter and Kadeem were brilliant at that in the first half. Camarasa came off as he was playing more forward than Gunnars and Ralls, so Ward was a straight swap. Today was the best defensive performance of the season in my eyes. Two clear cut chance from a team that are 6th in the league and held Chelsea to a draw at the bridge in their last outing. One mistake and lucky bounce and we’ve lost, but we should have had a pen. Each to their own but I just can’t see any substance with your comments.

Spot on.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However when you use the words Warnock and clueless your opinion doesn't count.

Probably the first time we agree on something.

we set up cautiously, which was probably the right thing to do given everton's attacking quality.
we were very solid in defence, but didnt offer much going forwards. paterson is a very willing trier, and one of my favourite players, but he is not going to cause damage on his own, especially against the better teams in this league. perhaps murphy should have started because he is the only player we have who can cause damage with regularity in the final third.
we should have had a penalty for the cunningham tackle, too.
overall, you can't fault the effort - that was a good performance that we might have nicked a point from.

Spent loads of money on Murphy Reid and don't play them. Arter should of been in centre with camarasa and gunnerson Murphy on the wing with kads the other. We had one decent attempt on goal absolutely awful. Just lump it to Patterson who's always on his own with no player near him then we hope a long throw works absolute rubbish

He spent loads on lots of players, but have you been watching them in training? There may be loads of reasons playaers are not played.
Warnock knows more about management than you ever will. That's why I laugh(like many) at your posts....

Lol. Doing us proud.
Sat Nov 24, 2018 8:53 pm
The tactics were perfectly sound. Keep things tight and hopefully nick one on the break. This meant shoring up the midfield.it almost worked. Everton had very few chances, took one.
We clearly need a bit of class up top.
Only change I would have made is Murphy instead of Harris. Suspect both will play v Wolves.

Were they moaning with you or at you?
I wasn't at the game but it is reported that City were a little unlucky with the goal conceded and then not to get a penalty, which seems par for the course for the 'lesser' Premier League teams playing the so-called 'establishment' teams
I would say I'll watch it on MOTD but we already know that will be Lineker biased towards his old team
City can do the near impossible this season and stay up, if they continue to be resolute in their approach and add a player or two come January
Apologies in advance for any positivity in my comments

We are in a group of 7 teams where we are 1 win away from going above them - better than it was a few months ago .
( above stat correct at time of post )

Except for Fulham, Brighton and arguably burnley game. We can beat some of these teams. Positive

Just got back from the game.
I thought he made the right changes today personally. Camarasa was in danger of getting himself sent off, felt he needed to be taken off.
Everton are a far better team than we are and deserved their win, I don’t know what people were expecting.
Sat Nov 24, 2018 11:27 pm
what a joke Warnock is clueless..... get a life ……………
we kept a top team in the premiership team very quiet for a long time we are doing ok if you cant keep loyal to Cardiff city then don't bother , I love to hear who you would replace warnock with I dread to hear actually Mark Hughes maybe Ryan Giggs ???
Sat Nov 24, 2018 11:34 pm
Got to love these wonderful football managers on here who say Warnock is clueless, I often wonder what level of management or coaching they have reached in the game, my guess is nil.Unbelievable fools.

We beat Brighton, but we never really looked like we weere going to. They were down to 10 men for an hour and we still looked the inferior team.
Yet again yesterday, our possesion stats are less than 30%. Only 1 shot on target. Only 2 away goals all season.
As much as i want to be wrong, it's not good enough to keep us in this division.

What game were you watching Vs Brighton? We had a number of chances and dominated possession. I agree it was frustrating at times but we most definitely weren't the inferior team!
Away games against the top teams in this league are hard. We're expected to lose. But we're more than holding our own. A bit of luck yesterday and we'd have drawn. Even with the stats you quote.

I tried to edit my post to remove the 'inferior team' comment but you replied before i had the chance to.
Not inferior but we really made hard work of it, and didn't look like we were going to get the result. Kadeems effort that hit the bar was the only class moment of the match.
Sun Nov 25, 2018 8:13 am
The OP makes a fair point.. I expected us to have won the League by now. Where’s it all gone wrong!
Sun Nov 25, 2018 8:48 am
I thought we played quite well today, defence was solid and we did frustrate Everton for long periods. Murphy should have started and drop Ralls, he's totally out of his depth and adds nothing to the team. Overall not a bad performance but we've got to start creating more.
Sun Nov 25, 2018 10:03 am
Did Arter play wide? Only seen some short highlights. If true I find that shocking. First name on the teamsheet should be Arter in the centre. Irrespective of the quality of other teams first things first and that's getting the best out of what we have and I don't feel we are getting the best out of a disjointed squad at the moment. This all boils back to a poor summer of transfer business sadly.
