Everton v Cardiff City
Opposition view
Adam Jones - who covers the Toffees for the Liverpool Echo - to get the full lowdown on Silva's side ahead of this weekend's fixture.
What have you made Everton's start to the season and life under Marco Silva so far?
Realistically, Everton fans couldn't really have expected this season to have started in much better fashion.
Last term was dreadful for Blues fans. Even though from the outside looking in it might have been a fairly middle-of-the-road campaign, it was anything but that for those travelling to Goodison Park every other weekend.
The football was dull, dreary and not what was befitting of a club like this. However, since the arrival of Marco Silva, it's been all change.
From the off you could tell there was a difference. Suddenly the squad were playing with a purpose and in a coherent system, and it was showing.
The points haul so far this term might not look too impressive for anyone not connected with Everton, but the style of football is the big change and that's what matters most.
Performances against Arsenal and Manchester United away from home were strong despite losses, but the Chelsea game provided what was probably the best result of the season and showed off the qualities the Blues can display when they need to.
The summer signings this season have all made a massive impact, not just the obvious one in Richarlison.
Defensively, Everton are looking more solid, and going forward on their day it looks like they can tear any team in the league apart.
That's a scary prospect for any opponent, and fingers crossed the Blues can continue in this manner.
What have you made of Cardiff in the Premier League and do you think they will stay up?
Moving up into the Premier League always brings with it a unique set of challenges, and that's proving to be the case for Cardiff.
If they can stay up this season it will be a fantastic achievement, and will be a great platform to try and build on in the future.
But, the issue is making sure of survival - and with how leaky Cardiff's defence is at the minute that won't be happening.
Until that back line can be properly strengthened, with that being through January transfers or through a change in system, then it's hard to see anything other than relegation come May. But I hope I'm wrong.
How do you see Saturday's game panning out and what's your score prediction?
Everton need to start making Goodison Park a real fortress, and the Cardiff match could be a great chance to assert themselves.
With the Merseyside derby at Anfield just around the corner as well, it's crucial to be going into it on the back of a win.
Everton will be coming out of the blocks quickly, pressing high from the front and trying to force the Cardiff defence into as many mistakes as possible.
If the visiting defence can hold out though, there will be opportunities for them at the other end of the pitch.
Given how the season has gone so far for both sides, I'll go for a 3-0 Everton win here.
