Obviously been advised but That’ll do for me.

Down the right thing by apologising, probably been told that he should apologise.
We should all now draw a line under all of this and move on, for the interests of the team.

That little bit extra about Sean Connelly being involved now makes it understandable.
While it seemed like his comment was just off the cuff for no reason, it was idiotic and antagonistic.
Now it seems it was just a tit for tat conversation between ex Jack and city employees.

An excuse I reckon, I couldn't see Sean Connelly in the clip, he may have banter with him but that just looked like him taking the piss with Joe Allen if he likes banter he'll have get plenty from the Cardiff fans now the thicko.

If that's true it changes everything really and I for one would feel a bit silly for having a go at him before the facts came out, I'm assuming connoly is out of shot on the clip and on one of the pictures perhaps

As long as he does the ayatollah v. Albania it'll be fine.

He looks like the mug now

He's had his fair share of stick over the years at Wales games from Cardiff fan's and it seems it was just a joke between mates. Sure the apology is most likely a PR move but he's man enough to come out and admit his mistakes. Nothing more than a simple joke and should all be forgotten about in a few weeks.
Now if he were to do the ayatollah against Albania that would show he's a real class act although somehow I doubt that's gonna happen

Ashley has done an excellent job for Wales, his comments just do justice to the level of rivalry between the clubs, surely adds spice to the next derby game, and may even get some of our fans off there phones and actually contribute to the match day experience.

I’ll never forget the picture of Ashley Williams leading a group of Swansea players to the funeral of a Swansea fan. I’ll also never forget the best summer of my life (Euros 2016) and how he, as Captain played a huge part in that.
I don’t give a f**k about and will easily forget a comment made that many of us would make if we were at the Jacks’ stadium even if we were playing for Wales.
Have some perspective for fucks sake.
