“ SEAN MORRISONS INJURY “

NEIL WARNOCK ON SEAN MORRISONS INJURY:

He broke his nose. He had a few rough challenges today.

But in the end I thought he was a little bit dizzy so we didn't want to risk anything with the international break.

The same with Joe Ralls, he came back and I thought he was fantastic in the circumstances.

We didn't want to play him until after the international break but we're so short of bodies at the minute.

Poor old Gunnars (Aron Gunnarsson) would have come off with 10 minutes to go if we had another sub. So there's a lot of pluses.

We get knocked a little bit and yet you look at the first goal we scored, it came from Neil Etheridge, we had 16 passes, and not one of their players touched it, but people will say it's a long throw.

I don't think sometimes our lads get enough credit. It was a well worked move and a great goal.

There are times when the international break are a blessing. As much as I dislike them, the team could do with a break.

Agree, I tend to dislike them but we really needed one now imo. Morrison, Gunnarsson, Ralls, and Mendez-Laing (hopefully could be back) could all benefit from it.
