“ FANTASTIC LOYAL SUPPORT “
Hate early kick offs, always a more subdued atmosphere especially when you go a goal down so early. But chants of Neil warnocks barny army after that goals tells you all you need to know about our fatastic support. The noise wasn’t up the usual high standards we have set, neither was the game although the noise levels at the end were fantastic.
29,000 yet one win, bottom but one, rugby on, early ko and love on sky. That is fantastic support and I have no doubt we will see a near sell out against wolves on the Friday night. So refreshing to see. Take a bow bluebirds.

Hello mate
3 points, happy days! , got to say though, fantastic support, absolutely so far this season. Loyal though? For some maybe but as much as I love Cardiff City, loyal is not a word I'd use go describe the fans.

Hardcore are loyal, but let’s look at the positive not the negative. Has to be some sort of loyalty or enjoyment for fans to keep coming back when bottom but one, early ko sky etc. Ok maybe it’s not loyalty but they are coming to games against less glamorous opposition and that can’t be a bad thing.

I wouldn't say the plastics in the red seats are loyal. Did you see how many of them were empty. You will probably only see them for 6 times this season
Sat Nov 10, 2018 7:59 pm
Really ? So im a plastic because i like a higher view and make 6 to 8 home games and usually 2 aways a season. Your the type of person to moan about low crowds then moan when people turn up. What a tool you are sir. Anyone who comes even once can get the buzz and attend many more times due to that

Loyal enough that they've paid for a ticket, paid for transport, got up early to travel and all in bad weather as well. They easily could've saved £40+ and watched it in the pub or on their sofa. Call them plastic or whatever but they've made the effort and have pumped probably an extra £150,000 into the club today. Over a season that's nearly £3million extra from some Fairweather fans in the red seats so I can't complain about their support

Bit harsh that fella, some people can't afford a season ticket and might choose to come to 3-4 games a season.
Tickets when you put the add on were between £31 on the wings and back to £35 in the center blocks today

Have said this over and over. No club in the country has the same support we have based on the success over the last 40 years. No team. Fact. All the big supported clubs have had a sustained period in the top flight.

There’s always ‘one’ superfan though.

What a ridiculous comment! Plastic? We were sat in the red seats. Plus 5 ticket owners. Travelled from Somerset with my wife and sons and have been supporting city since 1967. Plastics, really!

It's about time we stopped all this rubbish talk about fans who only come occasionally. Not everyone, for a variety of reasons, can afford a season ticket or because they work some weekends and are unable attend every home game. We should welcome every supporter who comes to a game as you never know they may become regular supporters if they enjoy their visit.

Absolutely spot on.
A mate came to his first game today, loved it.
He’s a rugby coach so will get to what games he can for now.
Another mate works shifts and has a young family, so comes occasionally.
My wife and daughter go to games, but don’t want to go every week as they have other interests.
Not everyone can, or wants to, go every week, but we need ALL of these people if we are to grow our club and we should welcome each and every one of them.

I guess it’s just a few clowns that are in the minority on social media and forums, we should probably just ignore them. Love our support at the minute. I too have friends who come now and again not depending who we play but depending on their lives that weekend.
Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:41 am
I don't think they would have but just to clarify by my post at the start of this thread in no way was I having a go at anyone who goes to games occasionally, my own brother and my best mate are just two of many people I know who fit that very category. They will probably only go to about 3-5 games each season, one because he lives away and the other because he has a young family and weekends are spent with them. Both are massive Cardiff fans who have been there since the early 90s, some seasons for more games than others.
Maybe my post who a bit harsh but I just wouldn't call out support loyal in the context of the word just yet.
