I reckon if Celtic were in the English league they would be on a par with say Aston Villa - decent Championship side - but no better than that.

Although they'd probably catch up to the pace very quickly.
Someone here denied my statement that the game is slow in Scotland , but I was there for quite a long time and I think it's slow.
Both they and Rangers plus one or two other teams would benefit from the competition of playing in the English League instead of knocking over woeful opponents in empty stadiums most of the time.

Im not a fan of Celtic, but with the crowds they get, they would be in top half of premiership within a few seasons

Why are you a big admirer of Celtic?

Is it their support for terrorism
The fact they covered up child abuse for decades
Or because Jack retard Hartson played for them?

Those days are long gone pal.Big gates are no passport to dine at the top table.Even Celtic would need a big money backer to get into the prem let alone stay there.

The "crowds they get" is also a bit of a myth, they only get 60,000 when they play Rangers or the top teams in europe, (if they ever manage to qualify for the league stage) the rest of the time against the pub teams the stadium is only half full.

No passport i agree, but over time, bournemouth are surviving on 10,000 crowds, but celtic would sell out 60,000,every game that revenue would be massive, its all depends in who they play, but if given a choice for a sky game i know celtic would attract bigger audiences than most clubs with their world wide support

Worldwide support, even when they played they played Liverpool in Dublin, supposedly their spiritual home, they were outnumbered 2 to 1 by Irish Liverpool fans
