Liverpool beat Crvena Zvezda 4-0 at 8pm, meaning Cardiff City will have far more rest in preparation for Saturday’s 3pm kick off at Anfield.
Liverpool had a strong team playing tonight - including Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino etc. It’s likely to be close to the team that Klopp will want to play for Saturday’s Premier League fixture.
Cardiff City fans will be hoping that the additional rest will work in the Bluebirds’ favour.

Last night, it was a mixed night for the Premier League clubs. Manchester United lost 1-0 at home to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus, while Manchester City won 3-0 at Shakhtar Donetsk.
