Why do people in 107/108 sit down during home matches, when Canton is clearing labelled the standing section and blocks to the right and left stand up?

They are only standing because club lets them stand! technically you are not suppose to do so in any stadium due to law on all seater stadiums,
Obviously as fans are sitting it means other fans are not standing up and getting in way. :old:

Probably because they want to sit down.

The seats are clearly there so that they can use them.

I hope cardiff decide follow celtic and have all safe standing in the canton next season this will also increase total capacity. somehow sitting down singing and clapping etc does not seem to work i have sat in ninian and stood in canton, somethings just don' t feel right bit like trying driving standing up better sitting down singing better standing up.

There was an incident in Canton 103/104 last season where a guy kicked off with a guy with special needs for standing. As you can imagine, quite a few people were quick to defend him and it got a bit heated. As a way of avoiding unnecessary violence, I reported the incident to the nearest Steward, whom informed me that only the middle blocks (105/106) were standing and that they would have to ask us to sit if people complained.

Personally, I agree with the OP that the Canton should be standing in its entirety as there are another three stands for individuals wishing to sit down whilst watching the match.

I've been in 108 for 4 years with my boy, last year and previous we sat down except when things got exciting or tense...suited me, arthritis and could still savour the special atmosphere of the Canton. This year it's stand all game...still suits me..FECK the pain...C'Mon! you bluebirds!

Is there a drum ?
I was going to suggest that we needed a couple of drums and guys who can play them properly, although I wondered whether the rules allowed them. If so it'd be a great atmosphere builder
