Last year didn't think their was much between us, just that extra bit of quality but they're light years ahead of us, my daughters uncle is a Wolves fan and can't believe how sh*t we look considering we were not far behind them last season.
Suppose that's what you get when you have a positive thinking manager who doesn't chop and change his defence every 5 mins. I like Warnock but he's way out of his depth at this level.

Or maybe it’s the difference between an owner prepared to throw as much money as possible at players with the help of a super agent compared to an owner who’s had his fingers burnt previously

Got to take chances in this game mate, understand Vinnie T has had fingers burnt but he had a great opportunity to do well this season, if he gave Warnock the keys the treasure chest we could be between 10th and 14th by now, bought a proven striker, a dominant midfielder and a CB to pair with Manga would have been a lot better.

Wolves have got quality all over the park and they were not afraid to be cut throat in axing Danny Baath who now can’t get a sniff at Boro. If Warnock had any conviction he’d drop Mozza or Bamba and whichever one he sticks with forges a partnership with Manga, have Richards RB and Bennett LB – I’d be happy with that, no messing or chopping around, just solid defenders doing their job.

Id rather look at the Gap to Fulham. We all knew wolves were going to spend big and have the football connections to get quality in.
Fulham spent 30mill on one midfielder and are only 3 points better off than us. How much did they spend all together? Close to 100mill? 70mill spent more than us and only 3 points better off and conceding just as many?
I think it puts it into perspective. Other than the Citeh game and the last ten against Chelsea we have been competitive and coulda/shoulda had more points in the bag by now.
I honestly don't think we are doing as badly as a lot on here think and will only take a bit of tinkering to get us picking up the points

I don't really see the surprise.
They had players ready to step up and have bought quality players in.

Wolves looked premier standard in the championship last year its all the foreigners in the team same as all the prem teams and mostly foreign managers who also play a different style with there tactics bar us, camarasa is the only one for us who has that style in his play this is why i have said for a long time that we should be looking to the rest of the world for players not just uk player's the prem is full of africans europeans south american players far east etc you usually get more for your money but you also need a foriegn scouting policy which i don't think we have in place unfortunately.

You can’t compare a club like Wolverhampton Wanderers to a Club like Cardiff City, Wolves are light year ahead of our due to the kind of owners they have and the financially muscule they have

in theory....and in theory you buy 3 a year and get stronger and stronger..
the reality is somewhat different with clubs being relegated after spending decent amounts year after year for 6/7/8 years..
im not against spending but its certainly not as simple as..spend x and jump 8 places, if it were that simple { unless x is a hundred million plus } everyone would do it..
