Let's be clear. The set up was better today, in terms of playing players in suitable positions.
We played quite well and deserved to win. (Last week was a different story and the set up was poor.).
Warnock worked wonders last year and as long as he sets the team up properly and the players give their all then I don't think anyone else will do much better with THIS group of players. All the players ARE trying - including Zahore. I hope that continues and we don't lose the work ethic.
However, as I posted last week I think it is a question of Bamba or Morrison. Morrison played quite well today, but it was frightening to see Vokes(!) Outpace him
I wanted us to get Tammy Abrahams (or another similar striker), and that is a big miss. Also I think PACE is vital and would have wanted Murphy and Mendez Lang in the same line up. The injury to NML was really unfortunate.
