Makes much more sense than Turkey even if you just look at it from a footballing perspective. Lots of good stadiums and suitable infrastructure already in place due to the world cup being only 20 years prior by the time this rolls around. Some really great cultural, historic and lively cities. And all of this being hosted by a football mad nation with some of the best fans in Europe (in my personal opinion).
Looking at the upcoming tournaments in the next 10 years this is by far the most exciting for me personally.

I went to Germany for the World Cup in 2006. I got a tournament ticket to watch Ghana and they had 4 games in 4 different venues v Italy, USA, Czech Rep and Brazil. Great stadia, easy travel and enough hotels for them not to take the piss on price.
Probably the best place in Europe for a tournament.
Hope we qualify.
