Burnley heading for a sell out

Cardiff City have confirmed that this weekend’s clash with Burnley is close to a home sell out, with over 30,000 tickets already sold.

Some 800 fans are set to travel down from Lancashire, and there are believed to be less than 1,000 tickets left for home fans.

The club is urging fans to book now in order to avoid disappointment.

Burnley has a population of approx 73000, Cardiffs is 335000 so look at the difference, also Burnley has major Clubs within about 20 miles of it. So I would be very surprised if Burnley sell all their tickets for a televised live game on a Sunday at 4pm. :bluescarf:

How many do you think we would take for a similar fixture?

They will probably bring about 1,110-1,200 come tomorrow which is about what we took to Hull for a 3pm on a Saturday last time we were in the Premiership.

1,000+ for a 4pm Sunday live on Sky when loads of their fans have just probably spent a small fortune on their (over before it really started) European tour is pretty good I think.
