RAMSEY TO LEAVE ARSENAL?

Aaron Ramsey will leave Arsenal at the end of the season, reports the Daily Mirror, who claim the Gunners will not offer the Wales international a new contract.

It means the 27-year-old will leave the Emirates for free next summer after 11 years in north London.

Both Ramsey and Arsenal had been confident of extending his stay at Arsenal, but the Mirror claim a sudden change in talks means there is now nothing for him to sign.

Apparently won't give him what he wants in wages ect! And because they pay orzil 250 grand a week they will not use orzil out position like they do ramsey so he as to go, as only paid 6m for him arsenal not bothered him going for nothing.

Of course they are concerned about him going for nothing, no matter what they paid for him, how much do you think he is worth now? the way prices are today he could be worth anything between £30m and £50m, maybe more, but I have no idea, but Arsenal are not a club to waste money especially if what I guessed at is near the mark, they are not happy to pay big money for players, so would not be happy having a player of Ramsey's caliber and value going for nothing!

Of course they are concerned about him going for nothing, no matter what they paid for him, how much do you think he is worth now? the way prices are today he could be worth anything between £30m and £50m, maybe more, but I have no idea, but Arsenal are not a club to waste money especially if what I guessed at is near the mark, they are not happy to pay big money for players, so would not be happy having a player of Ramsey's caliber and value going for nothing!

Come on they've let several players go for nothing when worth multi millions past couple years! Actually It is Ramsey that has decided not to sign what they offered him, so they do want him to stay, but not on the wages he wants, if anyone thinks that Ozil is a better player then they are crackers, and he is on over £260k a week. They will miss Ramsey when he departs, I think that Ramsey is calling their bluff,, and personally I don't blame him, I think Arsenal will come up with a better offer. By the way Alan who are these expensive players that they let go for nothing?

Ps Ozil nearly went until Arsenal buckled in the end

Arsenal never learn with contracts.

I went to a wedding and one of the guys is big into arsenal and I can't remember what he did but he had a lot of info on arsenal and said Rambo won't sign a new deal because a few years back barca came sniffing and were told £50m. And they said no thanks, so he's decided to run his contract down and see which of the big clubs come in for him

I was absolutely gutted we didn't have a sell on clause with Aresenal, looks like it wouldn't have mattered anyway!!

makes sense for ramsey - he will get more money elsewhere, and the chance of finally getting serious silverware. he has gone nowhere in the last few years at arsenal.

that said, there is plenty of time before now and the summer. arsenal would be losing a £50m + player for nothing - i doubt this will be the end of their efforts to keep him.
