Neil Warnock still loves to prove the doubters wrong

Daily Mirror

Wednesday 5th September 2018

When you look at the amount of money fellow Premier League newcomers Fulham and Wolves have spent this season, it’s easy to see why so many have written Cardiff off, but Neil Warnock’s a man who clearly still loves to prove people wrong.

NEIL WARNOCK:

“Sol Bamba in the Premier League? Neil Warnock in the Premier League? You what?”

“Junior Hoilett was in the under-18s at QPR when I turned up and I think it’s great for everybody.
“I think I’d like to go up to the Premier League, spend £120m, but I can’t see it happening, can you? Yes, I look on with envy at some of the other spending at other clubs.”

“You don’t get opportunities like this very often. Like my daughter said, there’s only 20 managers in the Premier League and it’s the best league in the world.
“Whatever happens, we’ll give it the best shot we can with the lads we’ve got. I think we can upset one or two along the way. We’ve got to enjoy it. Could have been worse, we could be stuck in the Championship going all over the place!”

Here's a most interesting link which explains a lot of what I've been trying to say here and, I hope, vindicates my repeated opinion that Cardiff City will have far less difficulty in the Premier League than some imagine.
I think a lot of people are put into panic by unfair press pundits ,(who often don't actually know what they're talking about anyway) ,which, incidentally , is the only reason I take every opportunity to challenge them rather than simply ignore them as you suggested in your recent thread.

We are much better with Ward in the team he’s the only one of our strikers who looks like he wants to make a name for himself in the premier league.
