How come the club just dropped the criteria to nothing again? I assumed it was going to go from 4 aways down to 3 aways down to 2 etc? I went to 6 last year so I'm okay but I know a few people who went to 3 or 2 that are gonna be annoyed by this. Seems short notice as well to just open it to everyone.

Yep, a bit frustrating that it goes from 4 to nothing. I did 3 and returned my Brentford ticket when it snowed, wish I'd held onto it now.

Anyway, looking for 2 Chelsea tickets if anyone is selling some?

Life’s not fair.
That’s how it’s done takes seconds to buy them hardly stopping them from going.

I think you're missing the point, it only takes seconds to buy them but to know they would've sold out within 2 hours of going on general sale would mean constantly monitoring the message board, ccfc Facebook, etc had to do that when it's a work day. Had there been more than a couple hours notice or it had been structured that after a set period of time it would be open to people who went to 3/2/1 away games problems like this could be avoided.

It's the premier league you've got to be on the the button. Just find out when they're coming out and be ready for it.

That's the issue though, the club announced this morning at about 9 o'clock that the tickets would go on sale to everyone at 10 o'clock. I'm not trying to sound bitter, because I managed to get a ticket, but it seems a bit disorganised from the club to just open it to anybody with an hour's or so notice. Anyway for everyone lucky enough to go let's make sure we're heard. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You may have point but suspect whatever way its done someone will have genuine reason to complain especially when demand will always outstrip supply. :old:

Because if you're not on Facebook at 9am you would've missed the notice. No email, texts or anything to say to be online at a certain time or releasing a structured selling system. Clearly from responses on here other people have had issues. Like I said I got my ticket a week ago but clearly other people have missed out.

Had a notification off the app this morning. Surely if there die hard away travellers they at least have the app.

Maybe so, I personally don't have the app (didn't know one even existed) but there's other ways of contacting people. Lord knows how many emails I've received letting me know my CityCash balance is looking.

Anyway as I've found out the game wasn't sold out as of 3pm earlier as my mate phoned the ticket office and managed to acquire a ticket.

Re: UPDATED: “ 3,000 TICKETS / SOLD OUT “

As someone who only attended two away games last season, I don’t have a problem being put at a disadvantage with regards to getting tickets for this seasons away games. What I don’t agree with is the fact that fans who attended more than X amount of games are provided with all the relevant details well in advance which includes ticket prices, travel costs and just as importantly, WHEN THE TICKETS GO ON SALE.

Having already taken the hit regarding the lesser chance of getting a ticket, I do feel I am being disadvantaged again unnecessarily, as I’m not afforded the same information regarding purchase date. Why not just announce the later date the criteria drops well in advance as they do with the first batch of tickets, stating subject to availability?

As an organised person who has to work football around a busy work and family lifestyle, I find this extremely off putting at a time when the club could be trying to entice “occasional away followers” like myself to attend more, which is good from a business perspective.
