VINCE ALM:

Cardiff City Supporters Club

Thoroughly enjoyed the game against Arsenal, plenty of entertainment on and off the pitch with some top performances and finishing from both sides.

Really gutted we didn't get anything though out of the game for the players effort, the managers bravery with his team selection, and most of all the fans who were simply outstanding the whole game.

Arsenal played their part playing a open game with some quality players on show going forward, and some brutal finishing from £115 million pounds worth of strikers who take home around £150 grand a week 7.8 mill a year each. Cardiff competed in every department today and done us proud giving us something to cheer about and get us excited over. A bit more clinical finishing, the odd ricochet and a tad tighter at the back we would have got something from today game. Personally a fair result for me would have been a 5.5 draw :-)

We started our premier league season 11th August 2018 with very little premier league experience in the squad, but a squad full of players who spent the majority of their careers in the championship, and lower leagues. NO ONE knows (even the so called pundits) how our players will adapt to this division, but based on how we have played in each game the performances have improved each time. Both the players and the management team appear to be adapting to the division and providing us with a little bit of hope.

To early to get carried away where we will finish little steps, but at the end of the day we currently only have 2pts from 4 games with Chelsea and man City up next. What ever happens the rest of the season if we continue to play like we have the last game and a half, it will be entertaining, and enjoyable, and we may even survive.

Some great performances today from the team none more so than Danny ward on his first start. many of us had tipped him if he stays fit to shock a few defences. Those of us who travelled to Nottingham Forest, Barnsley away last season would not have been shocked by Ward performance today. For me he is the one striker we have who is suited for Premier league football a complete all around player who is, Strong, pacey, runs at defences, good touch, holds the ball up well, can also turn defenders with quick feet, and has a decent spring when he jumps for the ball, he linked well with everyone today.

Final word has to go to you the fans; FANTASTIC, OUTSTANDING, LOYAL, PASSIONATE, FIRST CLASS, LOUD, BRILLIANT, just a few words of how good you sounded today, and I firmly believe you help lift the players to the performance they were able to maintain all game. You were relentless in your support for the team, and done the club proud to the watching world. Enjoy the break and see you all at Chelsea where we get to do it again

We scored a goooal, we scored a goooal, we scored a goal, we scored a goal we scored a goal.
