INJURED CARDIFF FAN ANY NEWS!!

Sun Sep 02, 2018 4:13 pm

Guys! I seen a Cardiff fan trip over just after the full time whistle outside the ground. I have never heard such a awful thud in my life this was that poor mans head hitting the concrete! Luckily we got paramedics on the scene straight away but he it hurts me to say he looked dead he was unresponsive and motionless with his eyes open,
Any update would be great as I can’t get this poor gent out of my mind

Saw him fall too.

I helped put him in the recovery position with a lady. Checked his breathing. Breathing was fine and he was chatting to her. Female paramedic arrived so I left.

Just fainted and a big head bump I think. Combination of booze and heat I reckon.

Yea. Proper thud. Collapsed backwards head seemed to hit the floor first. Weird cos when you fall it's normally forwards!

But he seemed ok. Just a bad headache and a bandage tomorrow.

Was this up just below the canton cross?

Saw the guy on the floor basically under a car and someone had called 999 assumed he had had a stroke, really didn't look good but the ambulance was there quick

I saw an oldish guy - quite smal, think he was dressed in blue - and another young bloke was asking him if he was ok.
This was up side street by church behind Canton Cross.
The guy was leaning against a garden wall but looked ok. This may have been a few minutes before he fell.
Glad that it seems he’s ok.

If this was in the car park just after the game, we passed by just as the paramedics were lifting him into one of the portable wheel chairs. His head was bandaged up and he was looking groggy but hopefully he'll be ok.

That's good news. Couldn't hang around as had my little one with me. Soon as saw he was conscious left him to the professionals.
