Warnock-Subs

Great game we gave a fantastic performance and got the monkey off our back that is we scored 2 goals.

Only criticism is Warnock always leaves it to late to freshen things up.

We had a front two and Hoilet who were out on there feet and we need to get some fresh legs on at 2-2 we didn’t and we’re inviting them on, when they went 3-2 up only then did we bring a sub on two subs, we need to give them something to think about.

After the equaliser i thought i would see Paterson and Zohore come on for Holiett and ward and really rev the crowd up....

Surprised, but I am a fan and not a very successful football manager.

Definitely should have made subs earlier. The boys were chasing the ball most of the game so we're knackered.

2nd sub should been straight after their 3rd goal 90th minute is pointless unless you are winming

I’ve been saying this about Warnock since he took over. I love what he’s done for us, and I love how we play - but I find his substitutions poor. Timings of them are often dire, and we regularly ruins our shape when he makes too quick substitutions at the end of games.

He goes for impact subs, but we lack any players with the ability to change games like that. No player comes into the game with enough time to make a difference.

I didn't think this and actually discussed it with those near me; and the consensus was that to change things too early would (as it has recently) change the dynamics of what was up until them a good team performance

Didn't think Zohore put up too much but Madine certainly did and he could be the 'lump' to try up front

Ralls, Ward and Bobby were dead on their feet.
All four Arsenal defenders were on yellow cards. We desperately needed fresh legs on to run at them.
Instead bring Ken on with less than 10 minutes left and Madine on with only 1 minute remaining.

Seriously he has fell victim to poor decision making when it comes to subs.. personally felt at 2-2 that Paterson or Cunningham should come on to give us more energy and protection in defence/midfield while still have attacking threat left on the field..

I thought Bobby Reid was knackered after Danny Wards goal and should have been brought off.

Thought the same.

Remember the clock hitting 65 minutes, and being confused as to why either manager hadn’t made any changes.

As others have said, Warnock normally waits too long.
