1.We switched off at times today and paid the price.Got away with it in the championship but not here.
2.Bamba is one of my fav players but he was schooled on times today-was at fault for 2 of their goals.Maybe fault is too strong but he momentarily switched off for 2 of their goals.
Thought that Arsenal were more than decent going forward today so can't be too critical.Onwards and upwards.

Those are the negatives but for two positives;
1. Danny Ward has proven he is going to be a real option for us up front.
2. We’ve pulled off a blinder getting Camarasa in, just the sort of ballplaying midfielder we’ve been crying out for!
Onwards and upwards!!

We just seemed to lack that bit of precision :-/. We can battle as well as anyone and have real togetherness.

If ever a game proves that you've got to take your chances at this level then that was it.

Think bamba had a better game than Morrison personally

Too many players tried to take an extra touch, lost possession and put us under unnecessary pressure

One thing stuck out for me
We are still learning.

Wouldn't argue with that but unfortunately Bamba's blips were scored from.

Arsenal had the extra quality that money buys. That's always the difference in this league.

My MotM and thought he did well against a super Arsenal attack

I thought that Aubameyang was given way too much space as the defence sat off him in the seconds before his goal other than that I was happy with the way we played

Can see with Arter and Camarasa we can compete and give anyone a game..
I thought the third goal for them looked way too easy and could have been stopped, haven't rewatched it but didn't seem like Lacazette had much to do to get his shot off.

Another thought from me - Bruno Manga is certainly looking class in the Premier League.

I cringe when I see him at right back. He has been proving a few wrong lately and may it continue.

Manga doesn’t the defending part well, one thing I wish he wouldn’t do is cross the ball as he can’t cross for shit, the rest of his game is good, showing good pace as well.

£112M the 2 lads up top for them .

i thought it was a good performance - we were ultimately punished by a team with some excellent players.
i'm delighted that players like ralls, bamba and etheridge, who have been fantastic for us, are getting the chance to play at this level, and stepping up.
warnock was slow with his subs and that was strange for me - we looked tired in the last 10 minutes.

Brilliant effort. We are unlucky when you watch the highlights of our chances. We missed a couple of sitters and a few good chances.
I feel much more positive about beating enough teams to stay up. I thing Ward is way better than Zohore though. What a brilliant effort. Our midfield were great apart from a bit of shit passing from Ralls but I'm sure he will get used to the EPL soon and settle his nerves.
Arsenal were class in the final third. They were a much better team but we played really well and could have snatched a draw or even a win.

I thought there was more fluency up front with Reid and Ward. Only a matter of time before Reid pops one in. If we were crap I would not have been disappointed, two top draw goals done for us its what the top teams do and it left me gutted. We have proved we can compete with the big boys we just have to dust ourselves down and carry on playing like we know we can. Keep it up team.

Don't get me wrong I see loads of positives from todays display, the link up play from Reid & Ward for 1 but I just can't see how anyone can say either of our CB played well today. They are there to stop goals and for me Arsenal didnt score goals with some unbelievable skill, movement or pass.
I'm a massive fan of both and without them we wouldn't even be in the prem but today they tottaly switched off which had a massive baring on the game.
Morrison gave a stupid corner away & then Bamba lost his man for the first.
Morrison just backed off for the second and gave him a free shot on the edge of our box.
Bamba tottaly switched off for the winner and lost his man again.
I've got everything crossed it just a huge learning curve for both of them and we will see a much better understanding by October!!
The step up is huge and it's going to take time for our players to adapt in both boxes.
As long as our confidence doesn't get too badly knocked in the next 2, I think playing this level of opposition can only do wonders for giving our players the experience to really kick on in October/November!! Burnley & Fulham are going to be massive!!

This^^^^ if we had a Ramsey instead of Ralls or a Lacazette instead of Zohore we would have won that game.

I didn't know if we were pressing of sitting off. I would like to see us press at home with a higher line. Thought we played well in patches. Ward did well and needs to stay in the team. We have to stay in the fight until xmas and then bring in another 4 players to help us stay in the league. Onward and upwards.

It looked like we pressed when Arter made the call. He seemed to be incharge of that at times.
