Swansea City fans turn on Huw Jenkins during Millwall clash

Swansea City fans turned on the club's owners once again during their clash with Millwall at The Den.

Chairman Huw Jenkins was pictured on the big screens at The Den in the 37th minute of the Championship encounter.

And it prompted several chants from the travelling Jack Army, with the majority of the fans in the away end singing: "you greedy b*******, get out of our club" in unison.

They also repeated choruses of "where's the money gone?" as further footage of Jenkins was shown on the screens inside the stadium.

It comes after a hugely frustrating transfer window for Graham Potter's side, one that saw a host of first team stars leave the Liberty Stadium.

Alfie Mawson, Federico Fernandez and Lukasz Fabianski were among those to depart SA1 over the course of the summer while the Swans had to bring in largely inexperienced players following their relegation from the Premier League.

They failed to add to their squad on transfer deadline day, much to the anger of the Swansea faithful who took the opportunity to voice their displeasure at the club's owners during the game at Millwall.

Potter's side were dealt an early blow at The Den as striker Courtney Baker-Richardson was sent off in the fifth minute of the match on his league bow for the Swans for a nasty challenge on James Meredith.

The hosts went ahead through Murray Wallace, but second half goals from Kyle Naughton and Oli McBurnie earned the Swans a sensational victory.

Not surprised as apparently they've made a 47m profit on player sales which as we know very little went back into the buying of players, someones making money...... :laughing6:

Was always going to happen...and not just because they're horrid 'Jacks'

This seems to be the 'modern way' as clubs and often more so their supporters are desperate to hang on to what they have; particularly when a close and bitter rival is on the ascendancy in comparison

We're not too much different at Cardiff City and this has been clearly evident in the roller coaster that will be dubbed 'The Vincent Tan Era'

No one (not even a Cardiff city fan) can deny what a good job Huw Jenkins has done for his club but that was yesterday and (as we know all too well) the only thing that counts in football is today!

Get used to it, Jack fans; your time has been and gone and the natural order is restored

Live with it with dignity! ;) :ayatollah:
