The new rules state that the only way a change can happen is if a rostered player leaves in the European transfer window then his place can be taken by a new loan signing or free agent, that is the only way a change can take place until January

I am not a specialist in this subject but from Mac's rule book it seems a change to the Squad List can be made during a transfer window or at any time if the PL Board agree. The difficult bit is getting the PL Board to allow a change which next to never happens unless there is a Goalkeeping crisis at a particular club.

I’m happy with the squad, NW knows what he needs and wants and is prepared to wait until January. My comments are more along the lines of pointing out the loopholes that can be used, it was mentioned on Sky Sports News last week about Hazard possibly leaving Chelsea because the European window hasn’t closed and that’s when it was mentioned that the loop hole of a named player leaving the roster to a European team is the only way a change can be sanctioned before January, the Home Grown rule and U21 rule run alongside the 25 man squad effectively giving managers options from the development system without having to name them in the 25
