Neil Warnock

Wed Aug 29, 2018 12:25 pm

What I'm about to write will surly bring the wrath of the Neil Warnock warriors down on my head but I feel it has to be written.

first let me give credit where credit is due to Neil Warnock. In my view he must be one of the best Championship managers in recent times, his record speaks for itself, but as for the Premiership he simply is out of his depth, don't forget he has had two bites of the cherry in the Premiership and failed abysmally,

I think the only chance we have of staying in the Premiership, and to me that's vital we do, I'm not one of those people on here who wouldn't mind us being a yo yo club, no the only chance we have is for Neil Warnock to resign or regrettably sacked sooner than later and bring in a more experience Premiership manager with someone like Bellamy as his number two,of course the new manager would have to deal with the squad that Warnock has put together but I would hope he would come in with fresh ideas that may make them improve their game, lastly this is obviously my opinion but I know others on here share my opinion,so let the games begin and i will bunker down and wait for the flack that will surly come my way

Don't get it myself. Could be a fair statement if we were well into the season with abysmal results. We have lost one PL game to date and already someone calling for him to be sacked. I find it quite unbelievable that this sort of stuff is going on when the season has barely started, we are not even in the bottom three.

Fair enough if we were a dozen games in and were lying rock bottom, but baffled why anyone would want our manager to go after one defeat and only three games. Completely over the top in my opinion, but I guess that's football fans for you.

clearly here to stir the pot..

the whole world expected this squad to fall away last year and having spent so little strengthening finish bottom this year..

for Warnock to under achieve we would have to finish 21st you tool

Absolutely clueless 'IF' and only 'IF' we fail to stay in the Prem next season one of the biggest positives for me will be not having to view the absolute GARBAGE now being regularly posted mainly by new members who will then disappear as quickly as they have jumped on board  :banghead:

See where we are after 10 games and you will get a better idea of where he stands but I don't think he will get sack even if we go down. That's why he was given a two year contract. If we do stay up I can see him retiring as he would have prove his point but if we go down I think he will try and get us back up and then retire

With the team we got hardly any manager would keep us in this league let’s stick wih Warnock because if we do go down he’s the manager I’d want in charge in the championship next season

Hold your horses mate.

I am not in the 'just enjoy the ride camp' and also believe staying up is crucial to our development and I don't subscribe to the 'bounce straight back up' club but understand the Clubs stance and the prudence shown.

Lets look at the positives, we are unbeaten in the last 2 games, we have not conceded in the last 2 games. We are 15th which I would snap your hand off for at the end of the season and despite the fact we haven't scored there are 4 teams with a worse goal difference than us and 6 with the same G/D which is what counts at the end.

We have an horrific run coming up now and I fully expect us to be in the bottom 3 come the end of October but if we can nick maybe 6-7 points we should be fighting close and then November and December look more favourable at which point the boys would have hopefully find their feet.

He probably is cleaning bogs that’s why he’s so bitter and hateful and hoping another person fails.

Soldierblue1880 joined the forum after we were promoted. Obviously a PLASTIC we can do without.

too late now, I would of preferred a new manager but wasn't privy to how little the club were planning to invest.

My dear Angelis, you are a serial manager hater. As we've got to go with what we've got I'm assuming that shoe horning a new manager in will instantly fix what you perceive is already broken.Given your history of getting abuse for your views without really seeing the light leaves me to believe your heavily into SM,hence your latest whipping.

Should have known about the investment side of things. Tan had made that clear some time back when we returned to blue. Although there were some silly figures thrown around on this forum, many of us guessed that a figure of around £25m would be closer to the mark.

Tan has specified he wants this club to be self sufficient, he also stated he hopes to make us debt free, and that in return for changing us back to blue, there would be no big money thrown into the club. He has kept his word so far, and that is why I do not share the views that we will sign a proven striker in January, particularly at the sort of inflated prices that we can expect at that time. Warnock will still be working to a tight budget, and we may not end up with the sort of signing many on here hope for.

Ha ha, that's exactly who I thought it was too. Our old friend. Ask him a few Brexit questions, that should confirm it.
