I doubt if they sack him until top four finish is mathematically impossible. It's 3 games into the season ffs :laughing6:

Spot on.

That’s why it took them ages to sack Moyes. He had a clause in his contract which meant the compensation was reduced if they sacked him, due to not finishing in the top four.

Can imagine they put a similar clause in Mourinho’s.

Same happens with LVG and Moyes they won’t just sack him unless they don’t finish top four.

Can say what you like about them but they never make rash decisions and just ditch people.

They nearly sacked Sir Alex Ferguson early into his Man Ure career but one game changed that and (as they say) the rest is history! :thumbright:

From my point of view (as a Mourinho fan who intently dislikes Man Ure as a sychophants club akin to being a modern Swansea fan) I think they have a man in charge who is most likely to take them back to the top. However, he does need to take a step back and not court the controversy he was previously able to get away with

If he's clashing with his players, then maybe he should try a different tack, but it does appear that the vultures and seagulls are circling and (ably led by Sky Sports news makers) they are intent on creating stories to fit their own agendas :(
