Trouble is, we've not won the easier games so come the end of September we realisitcally could be on the same number of points. That's when people will be panicing rightly or wrongly.

Sat in the Grandstand today, never again! Sat next to two idiots, all game just slagging off the players, no attempts at chants or encouragement just moaning. Not a good performance but you could tell some players were far from ready for first team football at the mo. Back to the Canton Stand Sunday busting for it!

Why would we need to panic? It's a long old season and we are more than capable of staying up in my opinion. I just hate the negativity with only 4 games of the season gone! The guy performed a miracle the last 18 months. He's probably the best man manager we have ever had and we'd be possibly in league 1-2 if he hadn't come in.

Its ok going out of cup even if our side was far better than theirs, the trouble is this side played exactly the same way as 1st team So if we cannot beat a weakend championship side how we suppose to beat premiership ones playing same way?

In the 6 years since we got to the final, only once have we progressed beyond the 2nd round. Is anyone really shocked that we have continued that run in this reserve team cup competition. Take a look at the gates for the early rounds of this competition, no-one is really interested until the quarter finals, and it is only then that teams start thinking in terms of putting out a full strength side. Gave this match a wide berth, I guessed we would probably lose in a near deserted stadium, and to be honest, I am not bothered in the slightest. Far bigger fish to fry, and some big matches that actually mean something coming up.

First thing first every competitive game we play whatever level we play its important that we try to compete and hopefully win,but the main thing you "in Warnock we trust" loons has missed that tonight's game has shown we simply don't have enough quality in depth to compete in the Premiership and that should worry Warnock and you

The Warnock loons who followed us before we got to the PL rather than just the last couple of months,heard similar things last season. We lacked the quality needed to mount a serious promotion challenge, and our style of football was outdated. The last thing the PL needed was us, but no big worry as were could never get there anyway with our players or our way of playing.

No negativity from me, just look upon tonight's game as a friendly or a starter for the main course on Sunday. You salavating yet, you should be it’s gonna be a cracker, Arsenal at home, they don’t come much bigger.

no your right its got no bearing on sundays game but this side tonight played same system as 1st team and had same shortcomings even against a championship teams reserve team it shows the system is not working, and dont you think tonight was an opportunity to experiment or certainly play bit more of an exspansive game instead of practising our defensive strategy ?

i didnt watch tonight because for years now these early rounds in the cups have become random affairs..and by the sounds of it tonights was no different.experiment playing expansive football with 11 players most of whom wont play Sunday against a weakened lower half championship team ?...not sure what that would prove or whats to be learned from it no matter what the score was to be honest...i remember LL saying prior to one of these games how it was a real opportunity for fringe players to show they should be in the 1st team, Gavin Gordon scored 5 which made zero difference to his place in the pecking order..these games are what they are...

Im not panicked I enjoy taking positives from any situation and yes there were some positives.Danny Ward I thought was brilliant when he came on, Bobby Reid played a full game and showed he can go the distance never stopped working,Smithies made some excellent saves and proved to me if he had to step up he can do the job. Manga played a captains game done well.The biggest negative I thought was the fan base couldnt get off their arse and get down to the game and support the boys. Dont talk about plastics to me ,I Know enough,their the ones who without watching the game will do the most moaning.

Don't care about the cup games but I was concerned about out back up players were a big concern, they were pathetic. Whoever told Harris he is a footballer wants their head read. Unbelievable.

5 hour round trip to watch that tripe but now don't go to every game due to travel time. So easy to spin out the old 'ah its only the League Cup ' but if anyone wasn't concerned by what I witnessed last night including the bloke in the technical area then they need an optician because that (apart from a few exceptions ) was TRIPE.

Yesterday was the perfect opportunity to build confidence & score some goals which didn't happen confidence wise I hope the goal has taken the monkey off our back

great effort to get down there...
but the reason its easy to spin out that its only the league cup is because it happens to be the truth....2/3rds of our regular fans from last season did not bother despite cheap entry but will all be there Sunday and this lack of interest goes on nationwide for a reason ..proper dont get those that turn up expecting anymore than what it is..

Allen, I’m away at the moment and didn’t watch last nights game and know little about it but didn’t we line up completely different with 3 at the back? That’s not the same system as the first team.
How did Madine play? Did he get any goal chances?
