MY THOUGHTS: THE 3 BIG TEAMS, CAN HISTORY REPEAT?

Mon Aug 27, 2018 8:16 pm

The Bluebirds face the biggest teams in the Premier League in the next 3 games. But can the bluebirds repeat history and beat Manchester City?

CAN CARDIFF CAUSE AN UPSET?
Anything is possible is football, so the simple answer is yes but if Warnock uses the right players to start the matches. It is pretty obvious that Hoilett is still in doubt for the Arsenal game I think someone like Jacob Murphy can shine against the big teams and the other wing I would put someone like Kadeem Harris.

I know there could be better players but up against the biggest teams you have to gamble a bit. So I say yes, I mean at the start of every match it is a 0-0 so someone for us will have to score.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE NEXT GAME?
I want to see the team create more up front but that is more easier said than done, but I personally want them to stay compact and don't take to many dangerous passes, and just don't play the quick game because we are up against a very strong team and we have to keep the ball with us for most of the game.

We will get chances via corners and free kicks also I would like to see our players running at there players, making them panic and give the ball away. This would work with Zohore this system.

SO WHAT ARE YOUR PREDICTIONS HEADING TO THESE BIG GAMES?
Cardiff 2-2 Arsenal
Chelsea 3-1 Cardiff
Cardiff 2-1 Manchester City

Three very difficult games where we will see little possession. I watched Chelsea and they play a lot of balls sideways and are currently struggling to get in behind their opposition. There is a chance we can frustrate them. They’re weakest in the full back positions which could make it possible for us to hit them on the break. Man city are a different kettle of fish.

Arsenal are conceding a lot and playing open games. Im realistic and the odds are against us but if we can pick up 3 points out of the next 9, we have done well.

Points against these type of teams are all bonus points.

If we can pick one point up we will have done very well.
