Danny Ward Chance Today

Ok werent a bad effort, decent save from the goalkeeper and he hit the target at least
BUT danny ward has never been a clinical goalscorer and had we had one on the end of that chance today would we have taken all 3 points, more likely yes and thats the difference and small margains we are looking at imo. We wont be getting many chances all season and these moments could be the difference between staying up and going down imo. I would like to see danny ward been given more of a chance and more chances to see if he can put the ball in the net because its unfair to judge him on this one chance, but my post is more aimed at the fine margains and the fact that we need to take the chances that come our way and so far with zohores header v newcastle and wards chance today we are not taking our chances and it is costing us points, i hope this changes and it isnt the story of the season, we are not playing bad but we need to score goals to stay up...

It was encouraging ward was there for the chance, feel he could be better off the ball and will be able to get in better areas for scoring opportunities more than zohore maybe?
Paterson done a decent job defensively but that was it really and worked hard. Hopefully hoilett is back mext game

I'm not a fan of Patterson in wide areas, I thought he was pretty ineffective. I like him as a number 10 as he gives us good energy but then we have so many players who can play as a number 10 in our set up.

I think Paterson is played there because of his prowess in the air, he did a few flick-ons today and does win his share.. but i would like to see Reid there for work rate and pace
