What's everyone's thoughts on them ?

Personally I have a very soft spot for Newport as a friend I went to school with is the captain, been to a few games over the years including the Leeds game last year and met a few of the lads after the game, had a few beers in town and they were absolutely sterling.

It hasn't always been the case and my biggest ever kicking I received at a football game was inflicted by Newport fans at a friendly with Cardiff many years ago

What's everyone's feelings these days ?

Couldn’t care either way tbh don’t look out for their results don’t even know how they got off today. Only team I check on is Swansea.

I hope they do well or stay in their division ( don't wish them bad luck at all ) Also have friends who are county fans .

My best work mate massive county fan and he was hoping Healey would join them but they’re looking good this season, home form is key for them

Don't really pay much attention to them but I'd be happy for them if they got promoted and done well

Can remember going to Somerton Park back in the 80s in division 4. It was a dump. Never saw any hassle there myself. Haven't really thought about them since. Never have any reason to go to Newport. Not on the radar, really.

In the 70s / 80s & 90s County Really were our rivals and sometimes bitter enemies, times move on and for me now I want County to do well

Although 90 % of the place are plastic Liverpool fans they hate us with a passion were known as the Redturds vile bunch of assholes !

Don't like a certain element of their lot and i know they dont like a certain element of ours,had numerous run ins with them in belguim and italy with wales over the years

Horrible little club from a horrible little town supported by horrible little people...

Always look out for their result and have been a few times. Its like going back to the more traditional days-terraces, not being ripped off with food prices and blood and thunder tackles with no play acting. I know a section of their support hate us, but so what. That's not unusual for a small club with a much bigger club on their doorstep. Hope they do well.
