2 points from 3 games 2 clean sheets but no goals, 2 games against 10 men is it time to give Madine a run in the side?

Yeah totally agree when ward came on he seem to get and create more chances in 10mins than zohore had in 60mins.

Warnock and Blackwell, probably more chance of scoring than Zahore........

The extra player helped.

Danny Ward for me. His movement was quicker, he was sharper and was stronger on the ball than our 6ft3 target man. Deserves a chance imo.

Ken cannot do it all himself. Doesn’t stop running, hold the ball up well and has a decent shot. Give him time or his confidence will be rock bottom. Madine off the bench for the last 20. Not convinced that Mafine & particularly Ward are up to Premiership football but would like to be proved wrong. Think most recognised that we needed a quality striker in the summer transfer window.

I honestly don't think it will make too much of a difference. It's our tactics more than zohore. He's our best option in my opinion.

I don't know what people expect with Zohore in the PL. He blew hot and cold in the Championship and was hardly prolific or consistent.

Reid isn't a number 9 though. Did you see him against Bournemouth, he couldn't hold the ball up and struggled with his back to goal and we couldn't get the ball to stick. He's a number 10 who plays behind the striker which is what he did for Bristol City last season where he played in the hole behind Famara Diédhiou and got 19 goals and 7 assists. Id like to see him play in that CAM position but you'd have to sacrifice a midfielder to do that.

They always blame it on him . When lets face it he hardly gets a chance . His heading is poor though as we seen last week but its Hard to make something when its 3 against one with no support close to him.

I didn't really get warnocks after match interview saying he wish he had Harris on the bench but he wasn't to know NML would get injured. Surely he makes the bench as soon as Hoilett wasn't available. Even without the injury I think the way we play we need those fresh legs out wide.

Zohore gets pushed about with his headers and his knock ons could be better. But his hold up play with ball to feet is superb. Great strength. Wins free kicks or finds a pass more often than not. The times the ball is lost is often because there aren't players up with him to make those little passes to, this is where Reid could excel.

Just my humble opinion but Zohore is certainly not crap. He needs more support but is our best centre forward. Probably not at his sharpest yet. Need to get Reid playing off him in the no.10/CAM role.

We are going to need an out ball against Arsenal as we arent going to dominate possession and Reid is quick enough to get close to Madines knock down on the break

For me, this would be the most effective lineup. When defending, Reid slots into the midfield and makes it 2 banks of 4. Then on the counter, Reid picks up the gaps that Ramsey and the two full backs leave. A 4312
