CARDIFF CITY MISSED A GOLDEN OPPURTUNITY TO FINALLY SCORE & GET A WIN AGAINST 10 MEN HUDDERSFIELD .

Two points dropped and we will never get an easier chance to get three points.


You could see there no real Premiership quality in the both teams.

Once Huddersfield were down to 10 men after 60mins City totally dominated in the Huddersfield half, but badly failed in front of goal to awful Huddersfield team.

Kenneth Zohore hardly contributed to the 60mins he played resulting in Ward replacing him.

Huddersfield dominated the first half with 72% possession .


Huddersfield had lost their opening two games and conceded 9 goals, whilst Cardiff City had yet to score a goal.

Over 2,000 Cardiff fans travelled the long journey to Yorkshire for what was already being billed as a relegation match for the two clubs who are favourites to be relagated.


Some early attacking football from Cardiff until Mendez-Laing went off injured in the 9th min, replaced by Paterson.

Huddersfield with in minutes missed a sitter.

Huddersfield for 25mins dominated the match.

Huddersfield dominated the rest of the first-half.

City improved but Huddersfield still looked the better side.

60th min Ward came on and replaced Zohore.

63rd min Huddersfield had a player sent off

City upped their game and finally took it to Huddersfield with 4 corners on 3 mins.

Bobby Reid was brought in the 75th min to go all out attack

City stacked and attacked but failed badly .

You make a good point regarding the passing. I get that we had an extra man so there was more space but the first half we didn't even try and put together 2 passes.

I'd have liked to have seen Zohore on when we had the extra player as much more on the ground.

Agree if we can keep in touch with teams picking up points who knows what will
Happen in January, I think we can get into Arsenal and ruffle their feathers and take a W!

I would say more to do with the extra player.

I personally thought we were very disciplined,took the steam out of Huddersfield who were looking at this game as their banker of the season. Frustrating in front of goal yet again but the goals will come..

I think Danny Ward , Josh Murphy and Bobby Reid is probably our best front three

No energy or pace, completely pedestrian in all attacking options.

Don't see this obsession with Newcastle. Both Bournemouth and Huddersfield (when they had 11) were a lot better.

Pundits will harp on about us having no goals scored but take look at other teams goals against column makes bad reading for some.

The decision to bring on Patterson on the wing was first mistake.. Reid could have slotted in there..

We have no attack down Pattersons side, he is better going through the middle

The negativity of not going for it until we had the man advantage cost against against a side who had shipped 7?goals in first 2 games.

I feel. Sorry for zohore, no service, no one within 25 yards and double marked.. Wtf is he supposed to do.

Its park the bus for the next 3 but when we not playing top 6, 2 up front from the off please.

The buck stops with Warnock regarding our total lack of goals, he needed to get a quality striker in but failed to do so, now whether Tan refused to finance such a deal we simply don't know so its down to Warnock to sort this worrying trend of not scoring even against 10 men with the strikers we have gave at our disposal, so over to you Mr Warnock

So playing against 10 men isn’t easier than 11 ? We didn’t even start to play football until the red card, same as last week. The chances that we had were a result of huddersfield losing a player.

I would say more to do with the extra player.

Maybe your right but zohore was still on when Newcastle were down to 10 men still didn't do anything then we need to either give ward or madine a go can't be any worse if we haven't scored with zohore in the side. Don't get me wrong zohore can have good games but he doesn't have many.

Warnock was given funds (not as much as we’d like) but he strengthened areas that were not vital. 3 permanent signings all on the bench.

We lack quality and are crying out for a goal scorer we have missed out on two games now to claim maximum points against 10 men ( other teams will be rolling them in against us ) hope I’m wrong but bring in someone with premiership experience and a proven goal scorer - zahore should be on fire last two games with teams being so poor he’s not going to get many chances against the big boys : ( just saying )
