Steve McClaren insists he is the right man for QPR after being jeered by home fans during a 3-0 defeat against Bristol City at Loftus Road.
Rangers have lost all four league games since McClaren took over as manager and are hampered by Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Asked if he is the right person for the job following the defeat last night, McClaren said: "Yes. Absolutely. I knew the situation when I came in."
He added: "Believe me, if the owners could spend money - if they could - they would. But the restrictions are the restrictions."

Some people are not cut out to be the manager and are better being a number 2 , McClaren seems to be in this category.

Never rated mclaren but I think their performances are all down to the experienced players they have lost and not being to able to brng people in.
FPP means they will suffer for years.
Redknapp has a lot to answer for.
At least Vinnie saw the mess OGS was making and pulled the plug on him asap.

After his horrendous Dutch accent interview I simply cannot take anything the guy does seriously

I think anyone going in there was gonna struggle.Only a desperate man would have taken the job, hence McClaren.

Seems an odd decision to let Holloway go and bring in McClaren especially when they haven't been able to spend anything and that's from someone who cant stand Holloway and think he is massively overrated

Not sure how he got the job.
Ever since he was manager of England, he’s struggled. Did alright at Twente I guess, but nothing good in UK football since he was sacked at England.
Which is a shame, because he did a brilliant job for Middlesbrough - people forget that.
Another manager who learned their trade from the best manager ever in Sir Alex Ferguson (in my opinion), but not at the same level. McClaren was Sir Alex’s number two for a while.

Unfortunatly for QPR the man they need to sort a situation like that is currently the manager of Cardiff.
Mcclaren is a good coach but a poor manager.

Steve always believes he's the right man for any job.
