Yes £10 a game is not bad if just watching midweek away games but another nail in the coffin of away support midweek.

Can be but guess it depends on how many tickets you are buying rather watch live for £20 but if your match day cost is in excess of £50 would think twice about going when can spend tenner plus few £££s on beer to watch your team

Personally would rather be at the game, and happy to pay the extra money to be there if possible.
Take last Saturday for example. I have Sky Sports so could have got up a bit later and watched the match with a few beers from my living room. But I was happier to get up earlier, get the train for £30+ and buy food/drink in Cardiff.
Don’t think it’s the same watching on TV, but others may disagree.
I don’t think it will massively effect away followings, because the hardcore support will still go to the matches.
One thing the EFL need to do, though, is put a cap on away ticket prices - just like the Premier League did. Apparently it was discussed at the last Premier League meeting to possibly reduce the cap to £25 from £30 as well - would be good to see![]()
Fans are treated better in the Premier League compared to EFL, that’s my honest opinion - apart from Sky and BT constantly moving fixtures for TV obviously.
