A forum for all things Cardiff City

Marko Grujic has signed a new contract with Liverpool and joined Hertha BSC on a season-long loan deal, subject to international clearance.
Serbia international Grujic enjoyed a productive loan spell with Cardiff City last term and will now spend the 2018-19 campaign in the Bundesliga, having first committed his long-term future to the Reds.
The 22-year-old has made 14 senior appearances for Liverpool since arriving from Red Star Belgrade in 2016.
He helped Cardiff win promotion to the Premier League last season and was part of his country’s squad at this summer’s World Cup.

Camarasa showed more in one match than Grujic did in half a season

Correct, and didn't look liable to be sent off at any time too.

Grujic was an okay young player learning his job who wasn't even an automatic choice.
Both Harry Arter and Victor Camassara are real quality midfield players at the top of their game and who could really make the difference for us .
Sir Neil was happy to continue working with Grujic in the hope that he'd get to that standard one day but it's funny how these things work out because what might have seemed like a dissapointment turned out to be a revalation .
On Saturday our defence showed it can hold at this level and if it continues like this our midfield is second to none. We have one more area to address and then we don't need to fear any opponents.

i didnt understand why Warnock seemed so determined to be honest...just 35mins in the last 5 games and 1 start in the last 7 suggested a drop in interest...?

Yeah I was surprised, maybe a case of better the devil you know, Warnock generally is a cautious manager.
I wish him well though, its a good move for him. He did a job for us over a number of games. would have liked to have seen more of him last season but im not to disappointed he didn't sign for us on loan.

I just want to say I think Marko did a great job for us and in his first 10 starts we won 9 games and drew 1, no coincidence for me. Disappointed and surprised he didn’t re-join us and went to Germany instead, but he played his part in promotion and I thank him for that.
