I mean it’s ridiculous how pessimistic this site has become. Screw the odds, screw the transfer window. We WILL fight all the god damn way until May. All we need is 40 points. All we need is to finish about three teams. And got to say Burnley, Watford, Huddersfield, Brighton, Southampton, Newcastle are beatable and we will shaken up the bigger ones too. COME ON!

Pretty on the money, this. I’m as realistic as it come s with football (in my not so humble opinion!), but what’s the point of being in the PL if we can’t dare to dream of a win each week? The frank realism can rear its ugly head for the few hours after each defeat

We are going to have a battle on our hands this season and that would have been the case even if NW was given twice the budget he has.

Therefore we need to use every advantage we have. One is to remain focused and united and not to fall into the infighting trap.

I was reading about Newcastle United today they are a club in chaos with players refusing to do 'walk on videos' for Sky and BT in a row over bonuses.

There are other clubs in chaos like Chelsea who are being badly affected by the problems Roman Abramovich is having with his work Visa. Manchester United are having problems with José Mourinho and his moods with top players wanting to quit the club.

History has shown that clubs who lose focus off field transfer that negativity to the field of play so if we hold our nerve it is quite possible we could nick a few unexpected results.
