5 midfield. 4 right backs and 6 strikers. All proven at prem level and all in their clubs first team and all on £30K or less.

truth is Real Madrid fans probably think they can improve their squad too..and should they improve it..they would still think it can be improved further...its never ending.?

I agree with DanielRees17 in that we need 4 players and having read this forum for the past couple of months it seems the general feeling is that we need what Daniel said.

2 x midfielders
1 x striker
1 x right back

Unfortunately, due to finances, I don’t think we can afford another 4 players without getting rid of a few first and therefore will be lucky to get 3.

My question to the forum is if you had to prioritise based on the positions stated above, which one would you like to see NW sacrifice?

I think 2 midfielders are essential (not just 1) due to current numbers and lack of quality and the hardest thing to do in football is to put the ball in the net, so I’d like another striker. Therefore, I’d sacrifice a RB. I think we have the numbers at RB with Peltier (suits Warnocks system as defence minded), Manga (who is a specialist CB), the maurading Jazz Richards (who can be injury prone) and youth product Cameron Coxe (in emergencies only). It’s not ideal and the lack of quality is amplified when you compare the aforementioned players with our LB stock. I’d rather take the risk at RB though than the other positions mentioned.

Can't agree more with this!

RB an easier position to cover, even by one of our LB's (I reckon Bennett would do a better job there than Manga did). An established ST and CM and a young loan Cm would do me. But I'm getting less and less fussy as the hours get on...

Having been married for 17 years I’m not used to people agreeing with me, so thanks!

If NW doesn’t get the players he wants, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Greg Halford back at the club.

We need 3 as a very bare minimum, 4 would make me feel a lot happier. 5 would be ideal but not essential.

At this point I'd settle for the 3 but really do think we need a right back.

For me , a right back and 2 midfield players.

I get that some fans think a RB is still needed as a priority as we already have options in attack. I think we can all agree on the fact we could do with a couple of central midfielders as NW has already stated.

Either way, I can’t wait for next season and I hope the vocal backing from our fans is as loud as last season, irrespective of the score. :ayatollah:
