ALAN NIXON (reluctantnicko)

I've been just as guilty as most when somewhat praising Alan Nixon for usually being spot on. But looking back at his tweets and articles in The Sun in regards to players we've signed, only 12 out of 49 different players that he's said we're going to sign/ close to signing have actually joined. This is over the last 2,3 seasons.

This means he has a record of 24.5%, the worst out of all the major UK newspapers. So, take it with a pinch of salt. After pointing this out to him, the bloke has blocked me so maybe don't wind him up if you still want to see what he tweets

The Guardian seem to be a better source. WIth 4 out of their 5 stories actually coming true. Making them accurate 80% of the time.

It's funny...the same people who slate The Sun and boycott it are the same people backing Alan Nixon up I must say I was guilty of it previously but quickly found him to be unreliable and now there's the stats to prove it! Absolute drivel, not gutted he blocked me, it's quite funny when grown men do that when there's a pinch of criticism

yes a bit strange..if your a rumour bloke and have fans following you on twitter ..A}..your going to be wrong quite a bit..and..B} the fans of the clubs concerned are going to give you stick....but he seems quick on the draw re the block ..
