It Was Noticeable Yesterday

It was noticeable yesterday that City really flagged in the last 10 minutes.

We did give it a go second half and had many chances to grab a draw or even win the game however the issue was we had very little possession and were therefore running to try and close down Betis all the time.

We may have got away with little possession in the Championship but the Premiership is another thing. Hence the importance of bringing in 1/2 midfielders who are comfortable on the ball to try & keep the ball more. If we are going to continually have the same sort of possession then the top clubs are really going to punish us late on.

The weather played its part as well, same for both sides but when you are chasing through lack of possesion it certainly does not help.

To be honest I thought City looked very strong at the end, and looked more likely to score than them.
