I was a bit shocked at his price tag when he signed but fair play he looks a great player.
He will be a massive part of the team this season.
Cant remember the last time we had a winger like him, he is so direct and has a great cross on him.
Massively impressed with him today

Him and Hoilett were tremendous today. They’ll be a real threat going forward this season.
Two new Central Midfielders and our midfield can compete.

He was class today. I thought Reid would be the shining light... Murphy, straight in my dream team! Kids gonna get some goals.

I believe that Murphy was our starman today followed closely behind by Reid. Both added pace & trickery.
Look a couple of decent signings.

I can see him playing games upfront especially if we don't sign anyone.

Josh Murphy is going to be a star for us! He will keep improving as well!
Bobby Reid worked his nuts off, he’s going to create openings just by his work rate forcing defenders into mistakes in our final third.
I thought Manga was class today and he’s given Warnock a selection headache for Bournemouth.
But let’s be honest, we were outclassed in the first half and although the second half was a massive improvement, I wonder how much of that was down to Betis making subs at half time.
Still, I’m impressed with how we kept going, our fitness levels seem fine and I think we can score goals this season.

I agree, Murphy was outstanding followed closely by Reid. Manga/Bennett & Ralls also stood out. Concerns re right back and for some reason Morrison didn’t seem himself today.

I didn’t go today and haven’t seen any pre-season games so it’s great to hear the positivity about these players.
I’m hoping NML can keep progressing and do well. I think he might.
Like most on here, two decent quality midfielders and I think we can make a decent go of it. If we sign nobody else then I think we will struggle big time.
I’m also convinced that we will bring a couple in before the deadline though.

I cant see Mendez getting in tge starting 11.
I think Warnock is settled on a 4231 formation with Hoilett,Reid and Murphy supporting a lone striker.
That leaves no room for NML to start the season which is a shame because he has a lot of potential.
He looks very big this season. Looks like he has put on a lot of muscle

That could well be his starting option but he also has the option of moving Murphy as a central attacker with NML coming in if Zahore fails to make an impact.
