Conor Hourihane

I would take full advantage of Villa's situation and sign him put a cheeky 10 mill bid in he's the type we need very composed in the middle of the park and can pass it and good at taking set pieces. :thumbright: :ayatollah:

He's a bit short for Warnock I think he wants the more tall dominant typeI can't remember Warnock ever having a short cm in his teams.

Alfred N’Diaye, Marko Gruijc both better.

Craig Bryson's only 5'6. I don't think Hourihane is a dominant type either.

Ryan Woods ticks all the boxes for me, he's absolute quality on the ball, but he is also a tenacious, hard working, dynamic, aggressive, well rounded midfielder who reads the game superbly. I will be shocked if he's still a Brentford player when the transfer window shuts.

It’s rydog back. It comes from him. He’s a great judge of players - he made about 2,000 posts singing the praises of Saadi.

Really he always looked taller than that oh well but Hourihane for me is the complete midfielder should deffo get his chance in the Prem and why not with us? :ayatollah:

That's true I was thinking along lines that Warnock likes a big dominant cm that's just least under 6ft or over like Grujic who is big and physical and good in the air I think that's what Warnock is after and I don't think Woods would be good in the air coz the ball is going to be in the air quite a bit next season with our style.

Hourihane is such a strange suggestion IMO.
Certainly not a dominant midfielder, he undoubtedly possesses many talents, but he's more of an attacking midfielder than defensive.
Desperate for a midfielder who can win the ball in the middle and play simple pass to the wide players.
Hourihane doesn't tick that box for me.

How is it strange??? He can play defensive also and can win the ball in the middle of the park and has got similar vision and passing range as Whitts and also good at set pieces would be the perfect CM that we need.
