Survival in the Prem

This article sums things up pretty well, and I agree with nearly all thecomments.

My heart says we can, but without at least 2 very good additions, my head says we won't.

Maybe our new song for this year should be the old Gloria Gaynor hit!

Fair to say that the line “Wolves and Fulham have been spending money for fun” is correct with Fulham having already spent 70+m on quality and Wolves 50m with more bids going in (Traore).

I would be disappointed if we didn’t bring in a couple of quality signings because they make the difference. Fair to say that both Fulham and Wolves are giving it a go because they can see the huge rewards for being in the top flight. Team spirit - great, young hungry signings - great, however you do need some Premiership experience and some quality.

As it stands other teams around us are strengthening which is the worrying thing. Has NW missed a trick by not looking at the foreign market? I just hope that in the next week City add 2/3 decent signings (at least 2 quality) or it could be a long season. Originally thought that we could reach about 16th but without those extra additions it could be a long season.

Come on City :ayatollah:

We have strengthened to our strengths but could do with a bit more, and not all our rivals have strengthened that much ! Fulham/ wolves have bought expensive players but will they strengthen their teams time will tell. :old:

How much have those pair spent on players that were part of their squad that won promotion?

Fulham have only spent money on Mitrovic to my knowledge whilst Wolves have re signed 2. Even taking that into account they have still spent a lot more money than us and added quality. There is no comparison as to the transfer dealings between those 2 clubs and City.

Reality is we aren't really trying. Taking the money and running back to the Championship.
