Team V Bournemouth as its stands

Team as it stands for Bournemouth that I would pick

Etheridge

Richards
Bamba
Morrison
Bennett

Demour
Ralls

Murphy
Reid
Hoilett

Zohore

In my opinion we still need a number of players, the midfield especially weak with Demour but I will assume we will get someone in before the season kicks off. if we got Grujic then id swap him for Demour. If Deeney then I think I would still go for Zohore especially for the first few games. We all know Warnock likes to play everything down so im hoping he is doing the same with transfers and we can expect a couple of surprises.

Team I think Neil Warnock will pick as it stands

Etheridge

Peltier
Bamba
Morrison
Cunningham

Ralls
Gunnerson

Murphy
Paterson
Hoilett

Zohore

I have no idea who will start in goal so will guess Etheridge. I think Warnock is naturally cautious and with us being away from home in our first game I think he may stick Cunnginham in at left back. With no new signings I think the middle two pick themselves for Warnock as do the wingers and Zohore. the only potential surprise I can think of would be Paterson in the number 10 role just to give us a more physical edge being away from home.

i know you dont like gunners but damour in for him?

i have a feeling NML might well start the first game for murphy.

Especially against Bourmouth, they like to move the ball around we need players with legs in the middle who can close down quickly and have good energy. We are two (three is you count Halford) players down on a weak midfield from last season so we aren't blessed with other options. No doubt we will have someone come in for CM though :occasion5: good news is Gunners makes the bench as it stands

It wouldn't surprise me either but I think Murphy getting the goals preseason may give him the edge.

not sure where this notion that gunners doesnt have the legs comes from.

after a very long injury he came in and put in a few good performances at the end of the season, some bad ones too - but no worse than our other midfielders who avoid this sort of scrutiny

All about opinions, I think the Gunnerson debates have been done over and over

What would you team be Paul

In mine yes but wouldn't surprise me to see Warnock go for Paterson being away from home and to give that extra physicality.

I think we will see a ultra defensive 352 system and formation at away games playing 3 centre backs with 2 full backs in the midfield

At home we will probably go 4132 and attack teams.

Away team 352

Smithies

Cunningham/Bamba
Manga
Morrison

Bennett
Gunnarsson
Ralls
Patterson
Richards

Reid
Zahore

HOME TEAM 4132
