Loved going there then. Never missed Brum v Cardiff during the 1980's onwards

I was there that day my very first time visiting brum away . great memories

Looking at the picture and the date , I am pretty sure that was the day Birmingham beat us to confirm their promotion and the season we got relegated.

Took me a minute or two to work this out, but get it now! Forgotten how big that terrace behind the goal was; the one on the side, where the Blues fans are, was even bigger. Wasn't there seating behind the other goal, (like the Canton)? Very similar lay out to Ninian Park. Went there a few times in the 70s and 80s. Most recently, last season. St Andrew's has changed a lot. Great ground, and a great photo. And not a replica shirt in sight! Happy days!
