Not sure what role this "Anis" (whoever that is)has at the club but , as others have said on here , how would he have any more knowledge than the rest of us if he is not part of the club`s senior management?

Annis himself has stated many times on this MB that the club have tightened up on information leakage over the past few years and he is no more ITK than anyone else. Mind you I bet that doesn't stop him trying

We all like to know as fans Tony but , as you say , Annis no longer claims to be fed insider information by the club (maybe by coincidence , leaks seem to have been considerably reduced since Michael Isaac was removed as a director).
And the club is so much better , in my personal opinion, for keeping its cards far closer to its chest in terms of player signings , player contracts etc.until they actually happen.

Football gossip is great , and message boards are an ideal place to discuss these things , but all this "I know someone" or "someone from a town or city somewhere has told me" is now just posturing by people who seem to feel a need to be popular by being "in the know". If any of us put in enough different guesses as to new signing targets etc. then it is fairly easy to then go back to one we got right in a whole bunch of guesses and to say "told you I knew".
