Where was Warnock talking from?

Mon Jul 30, 2018 8:30 am

Last night BBC Wales showed a short clip of Warnock congratulating Geraint Thomas on his win. He was talking from inside an empty football ground with red seats. The clip was over too quickly to make out where it was from.

Can you fly from Cardiff to Bournemouth?

Yes you can, but I think I read somewhere that it may have been a chartered flight?

If this is true then I certainly do not know who is the better midfielder Arter or Gosling

Reading between the lines online, maybe Gosling? but seems that Arter is the one out of favour!

It may have been recorded the night before as Thomas had effectively won it then. Could have been the City ground as I think Bournemouth were there that day. The flight thing may have been Blackwell teasing everyone

Was from New York... the New York Stadium in Rotherham.

Was pre-recorded.

Move on.

You could clearly see part of 'MILLERS' in the clip, but the stand is quite distinct, because of the gap for disabled seating.

Could well have been. If so it was recorded 5 days before he actually won the race and therefore unbelievably misleading of BBC Wales because Warnock was speaking as if he had just won the Tour and not put himself in a strong position.

That was Rotherham's ground. It must have been pre-recorded in anticipation of a win.

Cheers mate and your definitely correct that is Rotherhams stadium, so must have been pre recorded, strangely though that was on wednesday and he only won it for sure on Sunday.

Or maybe we're signing a Rotherham player :laughing6:

Harry arter would be great, Gosling I'm not convinced.
