Crystal Palace and Southampton want to sign Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater, according to the Daily Mirror.

Drinkwater joined the west Londoners from Leicester last season but has struggled to make an impact.

Maurizio Sarri has given Drinkwater game-time in Chelsea’s pre-season campaign but seems willing to listen to offers for the player.

If only....pocket money for Tan mind.

Not really sure what Danny was thinking when he went to Chelsea, did he think he was going to get more game time given the talent that Chelsea have in midfield or was it him and / or his agent looking for a big pay day?

Also, what were Chelsea thinking, 35 million?

He's a decent player but 35 million?

Crazy deal from a footballing perspective.

I hope he moves to a club where he will get some decent game time after his year at Chelsea, however, someone who has had a 35 million move will have astronomical wages and out of reach for most clubs.
