MAN UNITED MAKE MAGUIRE APPROACH

26/07/18

Man Utd have approached Leicester over the sale of their England centre-back Harry Maguire, SSN understands.

However, with a fortnight of the summer transfer window remaining, it looks like Jose Mourinho will have a battle on his hands, with Leicester adamant their star defender is staying at the King Power Stadium.

We understand United value the player, who starred in England's summer World Cup campaign, at around £65m.

Maguire is due to return from holiday in the next few days and is understood to be keen to make the move to Old Trafford.

Basically if you got a half decent player who's under 30 with a few years on his contract you can ask for 40m plus. Shocked people still got shocked by these ridiculous prices

If he was worth £ 65 million then Real Madrid and Barca would be interested. They're not as they've not been with any British players ( Bale apart ) for years. Only world class in the eyes of the English / British.

I think the fees are ridiculous but if that's what Leicester are asking for and United are willing to pay then that's what he's worth.

He's a good player and still quite young had two decent years in the premier league.

What Morrison is worth is what someone would have to offer for us to accept which would probably be 15m plus in this market
