Cardiff City transfer news: Neil Warnock confident he can sign Liverpool star Marko Grujic on loan again before the new season starts

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock is confident he can sign Liverpool midfielder Mark Grujic on loan before the end of the transfer window.

The Serbian international, 22, played for the Bluebirds last year as they were promoted to the Premier League

And Warnock believes he can get Grujic back to Wales ahead of the campaign. “I spoke to Marko yesterday, we are still optimistic, but we should know in the next few days,” Warnock told media after the 2-1 friendly defat to Rotherham.


NEIL WARNOCK:

“If he’s not staying there I think he will come to us, it all depends on the negotiations.

“There is a contract involved, but it will be resolved, I’m sure they will make a decision shortly.”


The news is welcome for Cardiff City fans with the midfield, looking pretty light just two weeks away from the season’s beginning.

The hold up is grujic! Pool wants him to sign a contract but he is unsure guess agent as something to do with it, but he will sign for us if he stays at pool! Also NW says he's got plan B as well and is still after couple more and expect to get them before start reason

The way this is panning out I would not be surprised if we signed him on a permanent deal, obviously not for anything near the asking price I have seen quoted. If not definitely a good loan signing.

Sure I got some mad posts after being a member for 8 years, can’t really be arsed to look over them, I’m not one for repetitive stuff see bores me, like in business I’m a doer, things get done that’s why this saga is boring me needs to get done already.

GRUJIC IS SET TO SIGN WITH CARDIFF ON SECOND LOAN DEAL

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujić is set to reject Crystal Palace’s advances in favour of a second loan spell with Cardiff, as reported by the Express.

The Serbia international joined Cardiff in January, helping the Bluebirds to promotion to the Premier League via a second place Championship finish.

Now the 22-year old is set to re-join the Welsh side on another temporary loan deal.

Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock is optimistic a deal can be struck, and believes he can turn the midfielder into a top-flight star.

Talking about the prospective deal, Warnock said:

Liverpool have made it clear they’d like Marko to come with us and there is an agreement in place. It’s just about him agreeing now.

Liverpool want to extend his contract and he’s not overly keen on that because he’s already got three years left to run.

I spoke to Marko on Tuesday so we are optimistic and we will know more in the next few days. If he’s going to go on loan, he’ll come to us and I think it will all be resolved.

I’m sure Liverpool will make a decision soon and it would be great to get him in before we play Real Betis next Saturday. He’s the priority and I will be disappointed if I don’t get him.

this isnt an update though..there are 7 Grujic threads on the 1st page and no real NEWS in any of them.

I have been on this site for many a year ! For what ever reason my ID information has been amended,so had to re-register.

My constructive advice would be ask the member their thought and stop trying to trying to trick them into opening up threads with this click bait shit !
