OT: Gruelling decision

I have one of those decisions that everyone has to make every now and then in their lives.

It has come down to that time of the year when everything has come to the point.

Will it be the Car Insurance, or The Season Ticket?

Usually, I'd do both, but seeing that her indoors decided to splashn out on a fortnight in Portugal. That, has left me with a headache on weather to do both or, Season Ticket!

My heart tells me Car Insurance but my Head says Season Ticket!

What would you do?

How much do you need to drive? If you live and work in Cardiff plenty of other ways to get around. Get your shopping delivered, etc. Go season ticket!

Well do you need your car? can you get about without it.

For me it would be my car insurance, I couldn't afford to get public transport to work everyday.

Monthly payments on season ticket as well?

Not sure if this is a wind up but no gruelling decision at all...

If you drive even an inch, get insurance; the consequences otherwise could be immeasurable...simples!

Sell the car and buy a season ticket for the city and the train obviously

I pay outright for both on credit card.

Should plan ahead ST same time every year so is car ins! but if need car it's ins it is that simple. Plus should communicate with the mrs regarding hols unless of cpurs she wears the trousers in the house?

Go on Martin Lewis site, find the best 0% credit card for purchases and do both spread it over the year, and reduce spending on other non-essential expenditure, such as gambling, fags and as a last resort beer!!!
