Championship is his level we are playinf with the big dogs now and the best centre midfielders from around the world and ralls along with every other centre midfielders will be second best to them, second best means you lose, 2 centre midfielders needed imo, might get lucky and stay up with signing 1 but neil needs to be ruthless imo...

Agree Ralls is way off but will do a job when we go back down. I’m disappointed in our ambition to say the least, happy with the signings but expected 3 more high end atleast.

Too right, he wants to prove himself in the prem then neil should be really pushing for more quality and the funds to do it if thats what we need

Why accept struggling when we have been given over 100 millions to get there. Tan would surely prefer atay in the prem long term and have the riches of the prem rather than struggle financially in the championship again for years

Another fan who has absolutely no appreciation of the tactics that Warnock employs, and just how important Ralls is to those tactics. He is unlikely dominate games or to stand out in the Premier League, but our style does not lend itself to such a player. Ralls will be one of the first names on the team sheet and I am confident that he will do the job asked of him just has he has done from the day Warnock arrived.

This ^^^^ he needs support in midfield. As long as he keeps things nice and simple, he’ll be ok.

Ralls will be fine. Better than Gunnarsson IMO. But we need 2 quality CMs for competition and depth. Very, very short in that area. Plus of course a striker. These will be crucial to our survival.

I like Ralls and the job he does. Of course the jury’s out on most of our players but I thinks Ralls will be fine.

I understand that this is your opinion, but was Ralls not our best midfielder by far last season?

I also don't see how you can make the claim that every midfielder he comes up against will be superior to him, when the season hasn't even started.

I agree that we need to make some signings in midfield, but I think it's way too soon to be writing off one of our best players, give him a chance.
