I thought their first team were on tour in Austria this week. I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that it was their under 23's who were at Barry. Whatever, pre-season training sessions have no bearing on what will happen when the proper games begin. That is why the Torquay result was irrelevant to me, whether we are training down on the south coast or at the Vale, the only thing that matters is what we do when we begin to play actual matches that count for something.

Hopefully you are right about relegation each season. Will be good if their future big derby games are against Gower Sports or someone similar.

It said on the radio earlier that Swansea lost to some Spanish team in Austria last night.

The team in Barry last night were probably their under 23s, as you said.

I noticed a lot of people wandering around Swansea town centre last week and they were all looking down at the floor...

Being curious, I asked one of them, "Excuse me, but why are you looking down at the floor so wistfully?"

"We've lost something dear to us!", came the reply, "It's the only thing we had to cling to!"

I asked, "Can I help you find it?"

Came the reply, "It's a bit embarrassing!"

"Oh, okay but I am a sensitive soul and I won't laugh. Just whisper it quietly in my ear and I'll see if I can help"

So he did; and at that point I burst into laughter...

"That's so cruel!" he said, "Typical of you Cardiff types!"

"No, it's not that", I replied, "It's just that I know what happened to your lost item..."

"What? Where is it?", came he cried in shock

"Like everything good, it's been taken away from you and given to Cardiff!"



And these are the missing items...
